1. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account or using MobilityTrader in any way, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. What MobilityTrader Is

MobilityTrader is an online marketplace where private sellers and dealers can list wheelchair accessible vehicles, mobility trailers, and related equipment, and buyers can search, filter, message sellers, and leave reviews. MobilityTrader is not a party to any sale. We don't own, inspect, warrant, or take possession of any vehicle or item listed on the site. Every transaction is between the buyer and seller directly, on whatever terms they agree to between themselves.

MobilityTrader is a trade name of Price Peer Corp. [placeholder — confirm jurisdiction of incorporation and registered address before publishing].

3. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your password confidential, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away at support@mobilitytrader.ca if you believe your account has been compromised.

Private sellers and dealers are both welcome; dealer accounts may have additional listing volume and fee options, and can display a company name and business details buyers can see on their listings.

4. Listings

As a seller, you're responsible for making sure your listing is accurate - condition, mileage, price, accessibility features (ramp/lift type, entry configuration, hand controls, wheelchair securement, and so on), and photos. Listings must be for real items you're actually authorized to sell.

Compliance and certification badges (FMVSS/CMVSS compliance, NMEDA/QAP Certified Installer status) reflect documents you submit and that our team reviews for completeness - they are not an independent physical inspection of the vehicle or your business, and we don't guarantee their accuracy. Submitting a false compliance or certification claim is a serious violation of these Terms and may result in account suspension.

We may remove any listing, or suspend or terminate any account, that we believe is fraudulent, misleading, prohibited by law, or in violation of these Terms - with or without notice.

5. Fees

Some listing features (standard listing fees, featured placement, unlimited dealer storefronts, sponsored ad spots) require payment. Card payments are processed by Stripe - we never see or store your full card number. E-transfer is also available and confirmed manually by our team. Fees and what they cover are shown at the time you choose them. Fees already paid are generally non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion.

6. Messaging & Reviews

Messages between buyers and sellers, and reviews left about a seller, must be genuine and must not contain harassment, threats, spam, or content unrelated to an actual listing or interaction. Reviews should reflect a real interaction with that seller - we may remove reviews or messages that violate this, and repeated violations can lead to account suspension.

7. No Warranty; Limitation of Liability

MobilityTrader is provided "as is." We don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any listing, seller, or buyer is accurate, safe, legal, or as described. To the fullest extent the law allows, MobilityTrader is not liable for any dispute, loss, or damage arising from a transaction, message, or interaction between users, or from your use of the site.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use MobilityTrader after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
